The Daily Planet (Vancouver)
We went out for dinner last night and walked past an episode of Smallville in the making, just two blocks from our place. I overheard one of the crew explaining what was going to happen during the shoot:
First, we’ll stand around and wait while they decide what they want to shoot.
Then, they’ll start to shoot, change their minds, and discuss it some more.
Next, there will be a lot of standing, followed by a lot of waiting.
And just when you think they’re ready to go, there will be more standing and waiting.

Dang, your blog entry is fodder for the exec’s table when they argue for cutting the shooting budget.
Fairly so, it sounds like. Why don’t they decide in more detail what they want to do at each set?
