Richard: whether the 120 gb hard drive model is "better" or not depends on your viewpoint. Do you want lots of storage or do you want fast seek times and low power consumption? If the latter, then the 4 GB flash model is the way to go.

As for Linux versus Windows, that also depends on how you plan to use the laptop. Is this a replacement for your desktop, or like me, are you planning to use it as a small note-taking device that you can easily carry when you travel? In that case, Linux would definitely be the way to go. I might still buy the version with Windows, just to have the Windows license handy when I go to resell the device in a couple years. More than likely, I'll end up installing my own customized Linux system on top of it anyways.

I called HP Canada on May-1-2008, they said the computer will be here 2 or 3 weeks later.

Can you give me which operating system should I take ? Linus or Window ? for sure the computer with 120Gb hard drive is better, I notice the Linus machine will start up faster and there are so many Window programs out there.

Thanks

Good luck finding one, anywhere... I ordered my on the 17th, and HP says it will get here on the 5th of May. There are people who are waiting even longer as well...

Also, I don't think it ships with both batteries but it but it might be different there in Canada.
