commandN is running a contest where the winner(s) receive tickets to the mesh Web conference in Toronto later this month. Since 1) mesh looks really interesting, 2) I want to do some podcast work, and 3) I’ve been looking for an excuse to take a break from Vancouver for a couple days, I thought I’d give the contest a shot.
All that is required to enter is a short video explaining why you want to go to mesh. Apparently, points are given for creativity, so I got creative. :)
My name is Mike Kelly. I'm a Vancouver-based technologist and non-practicing physicist. strangely entangled is my home base on the internet. If you look hard enough you'll find some blog postings, articles, photos and other stuff I thought might be interesting

Nice Video….. Be careful I could see Bender’s eyes watching you. He might steal your idea.

Hi Mike (not Mikey)
Great video entry for the MESH contest, yours is the first one that I have seem Amber link to, so that either means she really liked your, or that you where just the first to enter, although I sure it’s a bit of both.
So from the looks of it, I look forward to seeing you post some images from your up coming trip to MESH in Toronto, hope you can get a fight and accommodation sorted out.
All the Best
