Well it looks as though summer has finally arrived in Vancouver. Lots of sun, nice warm temperatures (thankfully nowhere near as hot as Ottawa) … I think it’s time I dig out those old rollerblades and take ‘em for a spin tonight.
In other news: I purchased an HP2133 subnotebook. It definitely won’t replace my MacBook Pro, but it’s the perfect size for hauling to a local cafe for an afternoon of coding and surfing. I just wish the screen was readable in direct sunlight - I sense a lot of patio excursions in my near future.

Hello, Mike,
I’m interested in HP2133, but I have some doubts, is it suitable for viewing HD video, for example from vimeo.com?
ps
I think you’ve forgotten about commas in tags

Thanks Julia - good catch regarding the comments. I spend half of my day inside another content management system where tags are separated by spaces.
Regarding the HP 2133 - it’s a nice little notebook, but it isn’t the fastest thing on the planet. I think it might have a little trouble with HD video. It’s a nice notebook for taking notes with, surfing the web, and typing in the odd blog post.
My other complaint is that its battery life is pretty dismal. I would recommend getting the extended battery pack if you decide to pick one up.
