Sometimes I feel really sorry for Microsoft. They just can’t get a break these days.
Apparently, peering into the metadata in the new Microsoft “I’m a PC” ad reveals that the video itself was produced on a Mac.
Ouch.
Here’s an article that goes into some detail.
Update: apparently the metadata appeared in the promotional photos for the ad on Microsoft’s website, not necessarily in the ad itself. Microsoft has since scrubbed the metadata from the photos.

Funny! I’m a relatively recent convert to Mac myself, because of the self-contained feel of the company’s services, as well as the fact that the OS X platform is apparently more stable than it’s PC counterpart(s). I mean, who can beat Apple Care? It’s directly from the company that built the device, and a reasonable price as insurance for $1800 pieces of technology hardware go (I’ve been using a MacBook Pro lately BTW).
This whole back & forth ad thing kind of reminds me of the Coca Cola vs. Pepsi years ago.
