I’ll be attending the Northern Voice 2009 blogging/social media conference in Vancouver this year, and I’m really looking forward to it.
Last year was my first NV conference, and it was a good time overall. I really enjoyed the MooseCamp sessions on the first day. The talks on the second day were good, but much less geeky (hey, I like geeky!). Still, a little exposure to the softer side of tech doesn’t hurt.
Another thing Northern Voice has going for it is its size. It’s a relatively small conference – this year, I think there were 300 tickets up for grabs. 300 attendees means lots of opportunity to meet people, without feeling completely overwhelmed. I’m looking forward to doing a lot more mingling this year.
