Apparently, peering into the metadata in the new Microsoft “I’m a PC” ad reveals that the video itself was produced on a Mac.

Update: apparently the metadata appeared in the promotional photos for the ad on Microsoft’s website, not necessarily in the ad itself. Microsoft has since scrubbed the metadata from the photos.

This internal Microsoft Vista sales video is a prime example of just how disconnected Microsoft is from reality. For that matter, it’s also a good example of what is wrong with the sales and marketing department at most large corporations. Because if you think Microsoft are the only ones shlepping this stuff to their salesforce, you’d be mistaken.
