<p>Apparently, <a href="http://www.boingboing.net/2008/09/19/microsofts-im-a-pc-a.html">peering into the metadata</a> in the new Microsoft <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/windows/imageGallery.aspx">&#8220;I&#8217;m a PC&#8221;</a> ad reveals that the video itself was produced on a Mac.</p>
<p>Ouch.</p>

<p><em>Update: apparently the metadata appeared in the promotional photos for the ad on Microsoft&#8217;s website, not necessarily in the ad itself. Microsoft has since scrubbed the metadata from the photos.</em></p>
